This is not to be used for “REJECTED FINAL SUBMISSION”.

How do you remove a duplicated or misnamed sheet(s) from the Final Deliverables folder?

Knowing that during the “Initial Delivery” state, sheets are placed into the folder by using rendition or drag and drop; this will allow the designer to rename, delete or replace them.  Once the sheets are moved into the following states, they are now under the control of the workflow rules.

There have been cases where sheets were placed into the folder by not using the replace, import or rendition steps for corrections or revisions. When this error is noted, you do not need to contact a ProjectWise Administrator.

Deleting or renaming these sheets can be achieved through the workflow, by bringing those sheets back into the “Initial Delivery” once again allows the designer to delete or rename the sheet(s).

  • When this happens in the Office Service’s (OSD) workflow states there are many options of getting the sheet back to the “Initial Delivery” state. This requires the OSD tech to assist in getting it back to the “Initial Delivery” state.
  • When the sheet(s) are in Office Engineer” (OE) workflow states, it requires OE Reviewer assistance in getting the sheet back to the “Initial Delivery” state.
  • When the sheets are in the “Current” state the OE Reviewer will select the “Change state” to “Slide Plan Sheet” placing the sheet back to “OSD Pending Review”. Then this will require the OSD tech to select the “Change state” to “Slide Plan Sheet” placing it in the “Initial Delivery” state.
  • Or the OE Reviewer can select the “Change state” to “Approve Plan Sheet” placing it in the “OE Review Pending” state. Then the OE Reviewer will select the “Change state” to “Slide Plan Sheet” placing it in the “Initial Delivery” state.
  • When the sheet is in “OE Awarded” state and the OE Reviewer selects the “Change state” to “Slide Plan Sheet” you will be prompted to “Contact a ProjectWise Administrator!” So instead select “Change state” to the “Delete Plan Sheet” placing it in the “OE Delete Sheet” state. From here the OE Reviewer can now select the “Change state” to “Slide Plan Sheet” placing it in the “Initial Delivery” state.

Note: Once the desired sheet is in the “Initial Delivery” state the OE Reviewer will lose the ability to see all the sheets in that Final Deliverables folder. (DO NOT BE ALARMED!) The designer then is required to delete or move the sheet out of the “Initial Delivery” for the OE Reviewer to be able to make the folder contents visible again.
