If the Job Piece is not available in ProjectWise, request a project to be created (Consultants: Request through the ODOT Project Manager. ODOT Staff: Request through the online portal) Once the project is created, the documents can be scanned. Once scanned, the documents can be dropped into ProjectWise.
Most applications have the ability to print to PDF. Once printed to PDF the user can simply drag and drop the document where it belongs in ProjectWise.

This question was related to the Plan Submission workflow located in the Final folder.
This workflow branches between design, Office Services and Office Engineer divisions. Throughout the workflow, the persons responsible for that state may change. If the document is in a state for which you are not responsible to move it, you cannot change the state.
Example:
If the document is in OSD Pending Review State; Design cannot push it to a state which signifies the document to be in the hands of the Office Engineer.

Once the service provider gets through level 1, and their Project Manager is comfortable with them proceeding to the next level. Level 2 is the folks are importing documents in and moving documents through the workflow. Level 3 folks are working fully integrated with the ODOT ProjectWise Environment.
Level 1 should not be able to set up projects, however will have a repository already set up. Inside that repository the service provider will be able to create a folder.

No, and yes. For level 1, we will create a folder for your company. Inside that folder, you will have the ability to create folders.
In the future, we would like for you to be able to directly drop your documents into the Project Folder where they belong. Example, 30% 60%, 90% and Final. This will speed your deliverable process up. You would not need to rely on someone moving your documents where they belong. This would be considered Level Two.
