Projectwise copies documents to the user’s machine for the user to modify them. Once the document has been modified, the user has an option to overwrite the server copy using the check in commands.
For this to work properly; upon the first login for the user, ProjectWise will attempt to create a temporary working directory. Allow this action. The temporary directory location is set up by the ProjectWise Administrator and should not be moved.
