There will be times when users may need access to folders that they do not normally have permission to work in. For example, when a project manager is working on a smaller size project and creates the full project plan set. In these cases the project manager will need read/write access to different folders. In order to grant a user access to a folder, the user must request permission from the local administrator.  Once permission is granted the email granting permission must be forwarded to the ProjectWise Administrator.

Important: the local administrator in charge must understand that the users will be able to delete, create, copy and modify any document in the shared folder. It is ultimately their responsibility should any file inadvertently be modified, copied or deleted without their express approval.
