For Consultant Projects that involve Right of Way, Local Government and Survey; Managers from these division are able to add Consultant Groups and Specific people into the projects.    This is accomplished by using the ProjectWise Client User Management Dialog.

Steps to add groups of users to a project are below.

Local Government process is below; however, the steps are the same for Right of Way and Survey discipline folders .

  1. Open and login to ProjectWise using your credentials
  2. Using the top toolbar, choose  Tools > User Management …
  3. The “User/Group Management” dialog box appears.
  4. Using the first column labeled “Select Users, Groups or User Lists highlight “All User Lists”
  5. Using the Navigation arrows to the right of “All User Lists”, navigate to the associated User List associated with your project.
  6. Hightlight the appropriate access list (OMIT X’S FOR ACTUAL JP NUMBER)
    • Local Government Discipline Folder – LJPXXXXXXX
    • Survey Discipline Folder – SJPXXXXXXX
    • Right of Way Utilities – UJPXXXXXXX
    • Right of Way – RJPXXXXXXX
    • Right of Way Turnkey – RJPXXXXXXX-TK
  7. Using the 2nd column labeled “Available” in the name field filter the results for the Group you are wanting to place into the discipline folder.   Example:
    1. If you are want to add the Consultant CP&Y, type C_CP&Y in the filter field for name.
    2. IMPORTANT NOTE:  All consultant groups begin with “C_”.
  8. Highlight the group you searched for and click the green pointing to the right.   This will add the group into the discipline folder and show the group under the 3rd column labeled “Assigned”
  9. Once all groups are added, Click > Okay
