The following defines the responsibilities for the ProjectWise User, Local Data Administrator, and the ProjectWise Administrator.

ProjectWise User’s

Users are grouped by Specialty Groups, for example, Bridge, Construction, Roadway, Office Engineer, etc.

Local Data Administrator

Local Data Administrators (LDA’s) are regional managers responsible for modifying project level permissions for project specific access and then to maintain project permissions during the project design and construction phases. LDA’s are able to adjust security permissions for project folders, sub-folders, and documents. Local Data Administrators are not expected to train others on the use of ProjectWise or troubleshoot general ProjectWise issues. If issues occur, please log a help ticket through the Help Desk at 521-2444.

(ODOT currently is not using the role of Local Data Administrator)

 

ProjectWise Administrator

The ProjectWise Administrator is responsible for software upgrades, setup and management of the ProjectWise environment including managing group members, project setup, backup and recovery and ProjectWise standards and directives.
