In an effort to track project submissions and fulfill customer requests for research more efficiently, we have created a new dashboard for ODOT Staff.  The dashboard is not available to outside users.

Service Providers can disregard the information below.

The internal dashboard is the one stop for users to:

  • Submit Final PSE Construction Plans to Office Services for “setups”
  • Request Plan Research
    • Once on the dashboard, look for “PLANS RESEARCH”.  Click the link “complete a research request >”
  • Request a ProjectWise project to be created or modified
    • Once on the dashboard, look for “MODIFY/CREATE PROJECT”.  Click the link “tell us about the project >”
  • Report a problem with ProjectWise
    • Once on the dashboard, look for “REPORT A PROBLEM”.  Click the link “complete a help request >”

 

Location:

The dashboard is located under the “Business Tab” and labeled as “OSD Plans Library Portal” on the ODOT intranet website.

 

ODOT Impact:

  • Users will need to be educated on where and how to submit final PSE construction plans.
    • In an effort to cause less unread email, we are not sending this email to all of ODOT Staff.  Please forward this email to your staff who are responsible for submitting jobs to OSD/OE.

  • Users will now have an area where they can keep up with PW news such as outages or changes in the system
  • Users are requested to use the portal when requesting plan research.  This greatly speeds up the process servicing your request in a timely manner, while not putting someone else’s request aside.
  • Project Setups, Plan Research and etc are worked in the order of priority, then by creation date and time.  ODOT Staff can view our work queue at any time to see where their submittal/request is.

 

This does not change:

  • Notifications sent to the submitter once the plan set has moved on to OE
  • Notifications sent to the submitter if there needs to be a correction
  • Face to face communication.  If you prefer to visit us about your request, we may request your information and log a case/ticket for you.  If it is not critical, it will be worked in the order it was received by a member of our staff.
  • ProjectWise Knowledge Base.  This website is available again, and we are testing.  Communication from OSD will be sent once we feel testing and all bugs are worked out.
