Application Process:
The Oklahoma Safe Routes to School (SRTS) application process is a phased approach to the competitive application process. The phases are as follows:
| Phase 1:

Applicants must complete a SRTS Travel Plan and submit to ODOT for review by February 7, 2008 to be considered for Infrastructure (engineering projects) or Non-Infrastructure (educational programs and activities) project funding. An approval letter will be sent to applicants advising them to proceed to Phase 2 of the application process.

| Phase 2:

Upon receiving an approval letter form ODOT for the SRTS Travel Plan, applicants may apply for Infrastructure or Non-infrastructure funding by completing the appropriate application documents and submitting to ODOT for review by June 12, 2008.
