Be Alert Slow Down Stay Informed Keep Safe

This year’s theme, "Slow for the Cone Zone," re-emphasizes the need for heightened awareness, visual alertness, and decision-making when traveling through a work zone. In addition to asking drivers to "Slow for the Cone Zone," we also take this week to reflect on the workers who have been injured or lost their lives in work zone accidents. To date, 53 ODOT workers have been killed as a result of work zone accidents.
