signal assembly for pedestrian crossings.
The figure shows a post-mounted flashing-light signal with two
red lights shown mounted in a horizontal line. The post is denoted
as a pipe post. A rounded-top audible device is shown mounted on
top of the post. A white crossbuck sign with the words "RAILROAD
CROSSING" in black is shown mounted on the post below the audible
device and above the post-mounted lights. An R15-8 sign is shown
mounted on the post below the post-mounted lights. R15-8 is shown
as a horizontal rectangular white sign with a horizontal two-direction
black arrow above the word "LOOK" in black.
The base of the post assembly is shown as a dimension of 100 mm
(4 in) MAX. thick. The distance from the ground level to the bottom

(7 ft). The distance from the ground level to the bottom of the
