The Oklahoma Department of Transportation, in partnership with the City of Oklahoma City, is asking citizens to take part in shaping the elements included in the future OKC Boulevard. The agencies hosted a public meeting May 7th and are providing information on design alternatives (left side of the page) along with a Comment Form. The official project comment period continues through June 13th. Comment Form (PC and Mac only) Additional Information & FAQ Description: The Oklahoma Department of Transportation (ODOT), in cooperation with the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) proposes to construct the Crosstown Boulevard as the local access component of the I-40 Crosstown realignment. As approved in the original Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for the I-40 Crosstown realignment, the Boulevard would be constructed on the existing right-of-way of the old I-40 facility extending from the I-235 Interchange to Western Avenue. The purpose of this Open House: The purpose for the Open House is to review key findings from the environmental assessments and design as input to selecting the preferred alternative among the four.
