Public Hearing

The Oklahoma Department of Transportation (ODOT) invites you to attend a public hearing being held to solicit public comment on proposed improvements along I-35 South, from the north end of the I 35/SH 9W interchange ramps (located south of the Canadian River Bridge), north to approximately 1/2 mile north of Main Street in Norman. (See enclosed figure of project area.) The proposed improvements include expanding I-35 to a 6-lane facility from the Canadian River Bridge to approximately 1/2 mile north of Main Street in Norman, as well as reconstruction of the interchanges at SH 9E, Lindsey Street, and Main Street. In addition, the Canadian River Bridge will be widened for a certain length on both sides to accommodate the SH 9E interchange ramps.
