Subject

    The Oklahoma Department of Transportation (ODOT), in cooperation with McCurtian County, proposes to reconstruct the Little River Bridge just North of Garvin, OK on Little River Road. This truss bridge structure, which was built in 1959, has been under constant maintenance throughout the years to keep it open to traffic and has reached a status of Structurally Deficient. As part of our efforts to keep the public informed of this project and involved in the decision process, ODOT has scheduled a Public Involvement Meeting. The meeting will include a presentation/open house about the proposed reconstruction project, including why the improvements are needed, the type of improvements proposed, and the expected impacts to motorists and the surrounding community.


Meeting Purpose

     The purpose of this meeting is to gain public input about the proposed project to move forward with the completion of the detailed environmental studies, design and construction.

     The purpose of this project is to improve the safety and functionality of the Little River crossing on Little River Rd., north of the town of Garvin, in McCurtain County, OK
